Don't miss our Scholar-in-Residence weekend with Sofer Neil Yerman

Join us for an insightful weekend with our special guest and Scholar-in-Residence, Sofer Neil Yerman, November 17-19.

November 17th - Following our community Shabbat dinner, Neil Yerman will give a talk called "Sefer Torah: A Time-Traveler's Eye Witness Account."

November 18th (morning) - Neil Yerman will join us for Shabbat services in the morning and give a talk called "If You’re Coming to the Garden, Bring Your Crowns: What the Jots and Tittles on Letters in the Torah Mean."

November 18th (evening) -  Andrea and Will Turbow will be hosting Havdalah in the evening at 6:45 p.m (click here to request their address).

The program will begin with a short havdalah ceremony, refreshments and Neil Yerman's talk called "Alef-Bet: Torah Concealed/Torah Revealed - the Mystical Meanings of the Hebrew Alphabet."

November 19th - Neil will conclude his weekend at Sinai with a demonstration of the work of a Sofer as he repairs our Torah scroll, Sunday morning, 9:30 a.m.
