The Holy Zohar: A Journey into the Supernal Splendor

Steve Lotter

Join us for a six-week virtual wayfarers expedition through secret landscapes of Torah, revealed by mysterious camel drivers, vagrant, wandering old men, precocious children, and a rambunctious, runaway calf. Spend your nights on the road in caves and occasional inns along the way, with a rooster for an alarm clock, set to go off at midnight on the dot and waken you so you can catch the elevator up. Up to what? And how far?

And meet by day under shady trees beside running water with your hevraya, the companions, gathering together from across the sunny landscape of old Palestine for the holy master’s teaching.

Rabbi Meira Chmiel will be your guide and ticket vendor.
Sinai Synagogue will be your meeting place.
Schedule: Thursday evenings at 7p.m. starting September 1 for six sessions ending October 6.

Tutorial Cost: $50 per student
Materials: (Required) Daniel Matt’s Zohar anthology, entitled: Zohar, The Book of Enlightenment (from the Classics of Western Spirituality series), (Book cost is $20 or less, plus shipping, for you to purchase through Amazon.
