A special community event "Gun Violence - Pray, Learn, Act" will take place 3:00 PM Sunday December 14th at Sinai Synagogue, 1102 E. LaSalle Ave., South Bend. As a followup to last years meeting participants and speakers will include civic leaders, advocates for gun safety and law enforcement sharing both progress and the continuing challenges of gun violence prevention. Survivors will share personal stories of having lost loved ones to gun violence.

This event is being organized by local survivor advocates for Everytown.org, Mamas Against Violence and Community for Peace and Nonviolence.

Two of the organizing members are survivors having themselves lost family members to gun violence.
