Soldier Support Effort is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable
organization managed by volunteer mothers and dedicated to deployed service
members serving our country. We are collecting monetary donations for the
purchase of snacks, socks, tee shirts, underwear, cards, games, magazines,
puzzles, and personal items for soldiers 'in need.'
Deadline for donations: March 15
Support the Jewish
Chaplains Council, the only U.S. government-accredited agency for serving
the religious and moral needs of Jewish military personnel, their families, and
patients in VA hospitals. This Committee is currently collecting funds to give
our troops a taste of home and Jewish tradition while they are far away and
alone. Please send a check made out to Sinai Synagogue with “Troops” in the
memo line.
Another Blood Drive scheduled soon.
A minimum of 20 people are
needed. Anyone over 18 may
participate. For questions and
