Night Concert January 19, 2008 with
Yoshie and Harold Fruchter. It began with Freiliche
dancing after Shabbat, then sang songs from Fruchter's
CD Beyond the Book. Nearly 100 people of all
ages including friends from the Orthodox community
came to hear the Fruchters. It was a reunion of
sorts for Harold Fruchter, whose father, Rabbi
Alfred Fruchter, served as a rabbi at Hebrew
Orthodox Congregation from 1965 - 1970.
Seudah Schlisheet and Havdalah Program (December 1, 2007). Nancy Friedman
was the musician.
She led songs and shared a story for Seudah Shlisheet at the end of Shabbat.
After Shabbat, she led
music connected to Chanukah. Then we had Israeli dance led by the high
schoolers.
